Thom Yorke

 

Andy oferece com orgulho: Thomas Edward “Thom” Yorke (nascido em 7 de outubro de 1968 em Wellingborough-Northamptonshire, Inglaterra) é o vocalista e compositor da banda britânica de rock alternativo Radiohead. Geralmente, toca guitarra, piano e laptop. Atualmente, ele vive em Oxford com sua companheira de longa data, Rachel Owen.
A banda alcançou o sucesso mainstream com a música Creep do álbum Pablo Honey.
Além de seu extensivo trabalho com o Radiohead, Yorke também colaborou com outros músicos; ele trabalhou com Björk, PJ Harvey, James Lavelle, The Flaming Lips, U.N.K.L.E. e DJ Shadow. Em dezembro de 2004, Thom Yorke e Jonny Greenwood contribuiram para o single de caridade Do They Know It’s Christmas.

Radiohead – Discografia

Bem, não podemos negar que Radiohead é uma das bandas mais influêntes do cenário do rock mundial, formada em Oxford por Thom Yorke (vocais, guitarra, piano), Jonny Greenwood (guitarra), Ed O'Brien (guitarra), Colin Greenwood (baixo, sintetizador) e Phil Selway (bateria, percussão) no ano de 1988 o Radiohead nascia e lançou seu primeiro single, "Creep", no ano de 1992 e seu primeiro álbum de estúdio, Pablo Honey, em 1993. Ainda que o single de "Creep" não tenha feito sucesso quando foi lançado, seu relançamento, no ano seguinte, fez da canção um hit internacional. Desde então Radiohead se tornou a banda que não some das rádios e sites de todo o mundo, como definiria meu amigo Marcelo, é uma banda equilibrada. Ao decorrer da sua carreira fez canções que agita e acalma a mente de todas as pessoas, de idosos pauleira até aquele jovenzinho depravado punk doido e depressivo, enfim… é Radiohead, desde então é a banda do mês e para todos os nossos fans deixamos a discografia da banda de Thom Yorke.
